Within our hotels in Malaga Spain,

the Vincci Selection Posada del Patio

is right in the centre of Malaga and

just a two minute walk from the

principal street and the Town Hall Square.

Vincci Selection Posada del Patio

is located on a quite pedestrian

street and

surrounded by all kinds of shops,

restaurants and buildings

of cultural interest.

Decorated in an elegant and attractive style.

It is the only hotel in the centre of Malaga

with a car park and direct access to its premises.

ENTRANCE

The hotel is made up of two buildings, one of the 16th Century

(the right side) that it was an old hospice, called posada del patio,

and another building of the 20th Century that was a residential

building.

Under the hotel have been found remnants of the Arabic wall that

protected the city of Málaga since the 8th Century and of the

Roman wall, in earlier times. The arabic wall part we have in the

hotel is the longest and best preserved part of the same. It has also

found, the door where the troops of the Catholic Monarcs began

their conquest to Málaga in 1487. We will see it more carefully

after.

PATIO

Perserved in his original way, it is what gave the name to the old

posada. The glass doors panels enable to celebrate cocktails and

take advantage of the space to welcome.

LIBRARY

It also takes to make Coffee Breaks or Cocktails, to see football

matches or for business clients that come here to work with their

laptops.

The hotel has WIFI, internet connection in the whole hotel free of

charge.

WALL This wall dates form the 8th century aproximately, was made by the Muslim.

They lived here until 1487 one thousand, four hundred and eighty seven year.

When the Catholics Monarchs conquer the city.

This was the tower that was invaded by the Catholics Monarchs.

We are in the middle of the wall, I mean inside, in the past the wall had 4

metres wide.

This is the longer part and best preserved of the same.

WALL This canals were for waste materials. when the river flow is high,

this canals have water.

We have found lots of arabic and roman remains.

This well was made in later years.

This is suppose to be an old entrance to a house.

The old Roman wall of the city has also been found crossing the

Arab wall, and beside it the old breakwater of the Roman port,

giving an idea of the location of the coast during that time.
