Instructions for Direct Installation of Royal Locker Kiosk

App for Android

● Download the RLK App .apk files to your computer

● Your Android Device● A USB cable to connect your computer to

your Android Device● A WiFi connection.

What You'll Need

Connect Your Device

Enable External Storage

CLICK 'OK' ON NEXT

SCREEN IF NESC.

OPEN ON YOUR COMPUTER

OPEN ON YOUR COMPUTERDRAG THE DOWNLOADED .APK FILE FROM YOUR COMPUTER TO YOUR ANDROID DEVICE. DROP INTO YOUR DOWNLOADS FOLDER

OR SOMEWHERE YOU CAN REMEMBER, THEN DISCONNECT YOUR TABLET

OPTIONAL:

If you're working on a tablet that has your email set up on it, you can email

the .apk file to yourself.

Then simply click the .apk file in your email and your tablet should prompt you

to install it.

APK Installers

Every Android tablet I have ever seen comes with one of two .apk installers

built in. See below:

With APPInstaller you

simply open it and it will prompt

you to search for .apk fils on

your tablet.

Select Royal Locker and click

install.

Select Install then navigate to the

location that you 'dropped' the file into.

Click on the Royal Locker file.

Now Comes the Good Stuff

● Enter your Name and Email & Click Register

● You will see a message telling you to check your email for an activation code.

● Next Click Configure Kiosk

Check Your Email

Get your activation code from your email,

enter it in the box and click submit.

Set Your Kiosk Display Settings

● Enter the URL of your kiosk.

● Set the screen on/off times or check remain

on for certain days. (the system references the tablet time,

don't worry about time zones)

● Click Save and Run

Almost Done!!

Press the HOME button

Last Step-YAY!!

● Check the 'Use as Default' box● Then Click Royal Locker

Kiosk● You're Done!

Let Me Out..

To break out of kiosk mode, tap the black bar at the top of the screen in the

following sequence.

That will return you to this screen

where you may edit or quit.
