Pixhug is a social change platform that unites people with causes and the companies that support them. On Pixhug charities create campaigns, people share photos and companies donate money – together they change the world.

Bringing social value to social media

They say a picture is worth a thousand words… But what if it could be worth much more? What if photographs had the power to change the world? With Pixhug, they do.

Now our photos are bringing clean drinking water to villages for the first time, providing aid and shelter to refugees, working to cure disease, or helping your local community center keep the lights on. We’re not just raising awareness; we’re raising money and becoming someone’s hero. So while it used to be true that a picture is worth a thousand words, at Pixhug we believe there’s no limit to how much a picture can be worth.

Why Pixhug

Pixhug was created to elevate awareness of charitable causes, support philanthropy, and make giving easier and more transparent than ever before. For companies looking to build their brand equity, there is no need to crowd the digital marketing space with invasive ads. Through Pixhug, brands empower their audience by supporting what they care about, and are highlighted through user generated content embedded with a positive message.

Detailed KPI dashboard to see the reach of your donation in real time!

Pixhug is always free for charities - they receive 100% of the sponsor’s donation, directly transferred by the sponsor to the charity. That way we ensure that tax receipts are directly issued to the donor.

We do not monetize on post impressions, and choose to measure only tangible reactions - Pixhug charges sponsors 1 cent per user engagement. Because a $1 donation reaches 10 people, as every like is paired with a 10 cent donation, your cost to reach them is a $1 donation plus a 10 cent en-gagement fee. Every like is a real person reacting to your brand’s humanitarian mission, and every like represents a tangible value and brings real change to the communities in need.

Here is what a $100,000 donation looks like on Pixhug:

$100,000 tax receipt from the charity

$10,000 engagement fee

1,000,000 people are informed of your donation and have engaged with your campaign

1 million people learned about your donation and reacted to the post

for 1 cent per person!
