• In 2013 nearly 240,000 passengers passed

through Blackpool International Airport.

Houndshill Shopping Centre is an indoor

shopping mall in Blackpool, owned and

operated by Modus Properties.

Houndshill is the only enclosed shopping

centre in the town, and is situated at the

heart of the prime retail area.

Tram Stops

Blackpool’s tramway is one of the oldest electric tramways

in the world which runs for 11 miles from Starr Gate in

Blackpool, through neighbouring Cleveleys up to Fleetwood

and carries around 6,500,000 passengers each year.

This historic tramway has seen a £100m upgrade of the

infrastructure with 44 new advertising shelters along the

route and from Easter 2012 16 new trams have provided a

10 minute service along the seafront supporting a mix of

historic trams, which will remain a feature during the

summer months.

Bus Shelters

It is worth nothing that, due to the compact

nature of the centre, all of our bus shelter

panels are visible to passers by. In August

2013 we recorded a footfall of 1,943,801.
