Customs and traditions from Spain

I am Spanish ! Spain is a beautiful country with amazing panoramic views at countryside, good weather and unforgettable sunny beaches for holiday season at spring, summer and autumn. Spanish people most of the time have a good mood, like to have fun, laughing at all, joking between them, when you meet them or arrive and leave usually they give you a kiss, one in each cheek. If you are asking for an address, they usually put their arm over your shoulder just to explain how to get there, this is a common way of communication, but you dont get angry with them because you feel that they have invaded your personal space. This way of communicating may surprise you when you first arrive to Spain, but you will quickly adapt to this Spanish customs and traditions and soon you wont even notice them. Typical Spanish phrases to go out for have fun, are for example: ir de picoteo or "ir de tapas" (meaning: pilgrimage through the bars, eating small amounts of meal and often outside meal times), "voy a ir de farra" (meaning: I'm going to go party), Qu tienes de picar? (meaning: What do you have to snack?). After lunch, Spanish people use to have a nap (called: siesta) and after their nap, they usually saying: Yo estaba sobando (meaning: I was napping).
