JS Integration on Site

The first step for activating the popups is to add the JavaScript provided by the popup software platform to the header code of the website.

Customizing the Form

Customizing the form can be done either of two possible ways: 1) directly in the software platform if they have a style editor or 2) coding the custom form using the HTML/CSS.

For certain software platforms like JustUno or SumoMe, you can edit directly.

For PadiAct, or the custom code base for Klaviyo or Mailchimp, you need to directly code in HTML and CSS.

Targeting rules in the software platform or in the customizable Javascript (such as for the Klaviyo form), allows you to define the logic that triggers the actual popup to show up

Common options include: On Exit # of pages visited Time on page/site Specific page URL New vs. returning visitors

Previews

Previews are highly important because we can see what the popup looks like before going live.

In JustUno, you just click on it. In PadiAct, you go to the custom URL, i.e. www.example.com?nrlsk_trigger=13194

Check on mobile and desktop. Once live, the best way to check the logic, subscription, and

design on the site is to go in Incognito Mode (Chrome) or Private Browsing (FireFox) since these ignore cookies tracking.
