Double Sales Without Spending More MoneyTony Shap

Business Development Consultant to America's Fastest-Growing Companies

Business owners and entrepreneurs certainly want to make a great deal

of money. Among the best ways to do this would be to increase sales

and generate more revenue. A common fallacy many prescribe to is the

belief boosting sales means spending more money on advertising. There

likely is no reason to invest more money on marketing. Instead, it might

be a better plan to fix the leaks and problems that might exist with your

current marketing system.

First and foremost, you must look at how well you are capturing all leads

available. This means the website you publish and any other venue such

as social media or blog platforms should be maximizing the ability to get

as many leads as possible. More than likely, there are ways to boost and

improve lead capturing.

One way in which leads can be procured would be to ask for referrals.

Referrals can be acquired from many off-line sources. Often, it is not all

that difficult to ask for referrals and, when you ask the right sources, the

chances of receiving quite a number of good and well qualified referrals

is possible. Constantly seeking referrals is just as important as procuring

leads from a website.

Once you do acquire those leads and referrals, are you willing to do what

is required to follow up on them? This is a must. The information gained

from leads and referrals is contact information. Unless you take the

steps to actually contact those persons, then sales are not going to

increase. Regular, consistent, and effective follow ups on any acquired

contact information of good prospects can lead to excellent results.
