So its a responsibility of the marketers to understand the culture of Indian people who have different perceptions on the same things because of this faith tradition. So as a marketer always conducting research on the behavior of the consumer is so much important to success in the market. Because peoples of different culture have different occasions and fests so the marketers have to target those times where the customers demand various products and services according to requirement. So there is an opportunity for the marketers to launch their their product and services and earn benefit and increase the knowledge of customers.

• West Bengal (Bengali: পশ্চি�মবঙ্গ Poshchim Bongo, is a state in eastern regions of India and is the nation's fourth most populous.
• The state has been classified as the seventh most populous subdivisions entity in the world.
• To its northeast lie the states of Assam and Sikkim and the country Bhutan.
• And to its southwest, the state of Orissa.
• To the west it borders the states of Jharkhand and Bihar,
• And to the northwest, Nepal.
CULTURE OF WEST BENGAL
West Bengal's culture is distinguished by its •Music & Dance•Drama & Theatre•Cuisine•Lifestyle and•Festivals. •Being the land of Bankim Chandra, Rabindranath and Aurobindo, West Bengal is said to be the birth place of Modern Indian literature.
MUSIC & DANCES
•Music and dances are integral parts of the Bengali culture. Bengalis (people of Bengal) are closely associated with Rabindra Sangeet, Rabindra Nritya Natya (songs and song-dance sequences composed by Tagore) and Nazrul Geeti (songs by Kazi Nazrul Islam).
•Folk dances and songs are also popular in the city.
DRAMA & THEATRE
• Drama and theatre is also an essential part of the Bengali culture. There are big and small theatre groups in various parts of the state featuring large outdoor stage plays.
CUISINE• Cuisine is an integral element of the culture of
WEST BENGAL.
• Bengalis are fond of Bhaat (rice) and Machher jhol (fish curry).
• Sweet accommodate a status of pridefulness and prestige for the Bengali such as sandesh, rosogolla, misti doi(sweet curd), etc.
