WINTER BLIZZARD BASH

• I kept things simple and created a small dessert table with mini powdered donuts, a homemade cake, winter colored candy and of course, a hot cocoa station.

HOT COCOA STATION

• After you’ve been out playing in the freezing cold, hot cocoa is a must! I used small silver buckets to organized some of our favorite hot cocoa toppings, including these adorable DIY Penguin hot chocolate spoons and lots and lots of marshmallows. My kids thought the Snowman Fluffs Candy was pretty funny.

WINTER SNOW• Our winter party wouldn’t be

complete without a little of that fluffy white snow.

• I used cotton batting to create a snowy scene on the dessert table.

• I added paper snowflakes, penguin beach balls and even an igloo made from glass blocks to make it feel more like winter.

• Create your own snow with this two ingredient homemade snow recipe!

WINTER BLIZZARD BASH• I absolutely love using tassel

garlands as a backdrop for the dessert table.

• They come in so many colors and you can mix and match to create the perfect custom look.

• For this backdrop, I used a mix of blues and silver and added a fluffy white snowball garland.

WINTER BLIZZARD BASH• I filled a bucket with plush

snowballs for an indoor snowball fight.

• These were such a big hit and even better than the real thing.

• We will be able to play with these snowballs all winter long!

GAMES• One of the most important parts

of any parties are the activities. Even if I’m planning a small get together, I always try to include a game or activity that the kids can do together.

• Not only does this help keep the kids entertained, it prevents them from running around like crazy and making a giant mess.

• My kids loved this DIY Penguin Bowling game.

WINTER BLIZZARD BASH• Just like those rare snow days,

this Blizzard Bash was simply magical.

• There were lots of giggles and tasty treats and of course, tons of memories were made.
