Types of Cross Browser Testing Cross Browser Testing is a process to test web applications across multiple browsers. Cross browser testing involves checking compatibility of application across multiple web browsers and ensures that web application works correctly across different web browsers. Cross Browser testing involves testing both the client side and server side behavior of the Web application when it is accessed using different Web Browsers. So just testing the web application on single web browser is not enough. We need to make sure that the web application works fine across multiple browsers. Cross Browser Testing can be the biggest pain for Software testers. But availability of online browser testing tools has helped to minimize the testing efforts. A cross browser-testing checklist that can be referred while testing a web project on different browsers and operating systems is referred: 1). CSS validation 2). HTML or XHTML validation 3). Page validations with and without JavaScript enabled 4). Ajax and J Query functionality 5). Font size validation 6). Page layout in different resolutions 7). All images and alignment 8).
