Let’s pray for Ecuador.

• On Saturday April 16, 2016 a powerful 7.8 earthquake in the Richter scale hit Ecuador bringing devastation on the coastland, there are many casualties; buildings and main roads are destroyed, the process of rescuing survivors is difficult, as main roads are severely damaged not allowing crews to reach the points were they are needed. A race against the clock to find survivors has started.

• After my first prayer I have inserted some pictures taken from “El Universo” News paper. Also in the last page I have inserted a link to a Google page where you can see the effects of this earthquake.

• Please pray for the Ecuadorian people as God leads you.

• Father I come before you in the name of your Son and my Savior Jesus Christ asking for your mercy for the people of Ecuador. Father I ask that your love and grace move your hand to stop the aftershocks of this earthquake.

• Lord you are the creator of the whole universe, you spoke and the world came into existence, mountains tremble and melt at your presence and at the sound of your voice; the seas open their water at the command of your voice, rivers stop their flowing and backflow in confusion. Order please to nature that it stop its trembling. See how your people is afflicted, in pain, despaired, and in mourn for their beloved ones dead. See their houses, buildings, and malls destroyed, look over their main roads of access to the place of tragedy destroyed, not allowing the rescue crews to arrive and help

• Have mercy on the parents that cry for their dead children, of the spouses that desperately are looking for their partners hoping that they are still alive.

• Be merciful with the little ones that have lost their parents and now are orphans and are wondering around with fear and not knowing what to do or where to go.

• Have compassion on those who are wounded, on those who are trapped inside the buildings, on those who are losing their hope to be rescued.

• Forgive the sin or your people we ask you on our knees, in Your great love and mercy extend your hand to touch and transform hearts and to bring them closer to you.

• Pour over Ecuador the oil of your presence, the oil of unction, your oil for healing.

• I know Lord that at this moment many are looking your face. Dear Lord have not in account their rebellion, but as a loving father open your arms and stretched to them in an open invitation to your house, let them know that after their repentance their sins are forgiven and that as in the parable of the prodigal son they are welcome with no condition.

• Break every oppressive chain and proclaim that this is the Year of Jubilee and all bondage is broken, every yoke is loose, every curse is lifted up, because this is the year that you have marked for them to receive their freedom.

• Speak Lord to their hearts, let them know that you are in control of everything, calm their fears, lift up their foreheads so they can see a new future, a future of blessings, because you Lord will never abandon them, you never will forget those who at this moment are calling unto your name.

• Comfort those who have lost their beloved ones, heal those who are in need of your healing touch. Calm their fears, remove any shock and trauma effects.

• Help them to have a peaceful sleeping time, that they may be able to feel that you are watching their sleep.

• We ask you this in Jesus name.

• Amen.

• Please say amen to this prayer, or better still do your own prayer for the people in distress. The Lord will hear your prayer and grant you the desires of your heart.
