WOW BALI INTERNATIONAL INITIATIVE Sustainable LIFE: “Level The Playing Field” Project In today’s sustainability and wellness developments, two words come clearly into mind! FIRST and fore most of all is that our co-creations are “regenerative.” In short, this means to easy to share and duplicate; especially in the areas of information about sustainable economics, social integrations and environmental wellbeing. SECOND, is that our developments are “dynamic”; the forces and properties that make it effortless (see WOW’s “Dynamic” definition below for details of our intentions). In WOW Bali’s simple framework of sustainable and wellness development, TECHNOLOGY is an ENABLER that is BOTH “regenerative and dynamics.” Of course, with the understandings that technology is just “an enabler” rather than the end all, then accessibility of apps (small applications on mobile devices) and the learning how to create them should be made accessible. Presenting “Level the Playing Field” Project, a partnership with WOW Bali, Asia’s TOP sustainability and wellness framework and http://www.kvana.com, a San Francisco based technology startup that builds mobile apps, combined forces via mutualism to share our active learning modules of creating your own sustainable and wellness apps. Here in our training facilities we will empower you with WOW’s “active learning” knowledge and full mentoring support in creating your own “Sustainable Life” mobile apps. This “Level The Playing Field” project hopes to equalize the possibilities of creating useful apps that we can share to the ‘creative commons’ learning communities for the regenerations of sustainable and wellness practices. Our “pay forward” model hopes to inspire others to share with others while fulfilling your dreams more dynamically; for economic, social and environmental wellness that is in balance with a more sustainable life. WOW BALI INTERNATIONAL INITIATIVE

Sustainable LIFE: “Level The Playing Field” Project In today’s sustainability and wellness developments, two words come clearly into mind! INPIRATIONS: This project takes inspiration from the “hole in the wall” concept espoused by Mr. Sugata Mitra in this ted talk https://www.ted.com/talks/sugata_mitra_build_a_school_in_the_cloud?language=en Especially his thought that the kids in a poor neighborhood seem to be just as bright as the ones from affluent families. One modification to this model is instead of limiting the interaction of the kids with older outdated technology, we want to enable and empower the kids that have a thirst for learning with cutting edge tools. Hopefully they build something useful to make a more sustainable planet. The ideal outcome from this project is kids learn the technology and build apps and websites to solve problems in their local area especially relating to sustainable development and help solve environmental problems around the world. This project was also inspired and triggered by the recent wildfires in northern California where homes and businesses of many people were destroyed in a few hours and the drought that has left even a beautiful place like Mt. Shasta without any snow cover around November. We hope that with the use of technology at a local level all over the world, we can help build a sustainable planet that continues to be our beautiful home now and be the same for future generations. Courses will be the focus of this project: I. User Experience: A Simple and Sustainable Approach; Human Capitol Transformation Process! II. Apps Development Course (2): https://www.udemy.com/the-complete-ios-9-xcode-7-guide-make-20-applications/ https://www.udemy.com/complete-android-developer-course/ Our technical team will be available on Skype to provide guidance and answer any questions the students might have. To make this model more sustainable we could have the students that learn first to guide the ones that learn after them in a pay it forward way, if guidance is really needed. LOCATIONS: Sekar Bumi – Sacred Balance Center on JL Sayan, Sayan (old Paul Ropp st The tools we are offering to the project, as shown in the picture below, are:

1. Macbook Pro Retina Display 2. iPhone 6s 3. Android Samsung Tablet A8

Located in secure area with electricity and a good Internet connection. Ideal team of 2 or 3 local students per mentor (must be efficient in English) should be formed so they can pair program and learn together in a fun environment. “Dynamics means the “forces and properties” which is characterized by being adaptive to a constant change, activity or progress AND defined in a person as positive in attitude and full of energy and new ideas; relating to producing motion, expressing an action, activity, event and/or processes. This understanding of dynamics will contribute to a greater understanding of “regenerative” sustainability and wellbeing, which is the backbone of WOW “Sustainable Dynamics” Initiative.” – Hai Dai, WOW Bali Co-Founder and Creative Director
