2013 is ook weer vinnig aan die spoed optel,maar as onsterug kyk na 2012 dan is dit met harte vol dankbaarheid. Virons was dit nie net ‘n baie besige jaar nie, maar ‘n jaar watoorgeloop het van liefde. Soveel so, dat dit nou al voel soos ‘newigheid vandat ons terug is van Australie.

Ons vertrou dat 2013 vir julle soveel liefde en vreugde salinhou, dat julle met juigende harte alles sal geniet wat julledoen en groot hoogtes sal bereik. Soos almal het onsook terug gekyk na die ou jaar en kon nie anders as om tedink dat ons in hierdie jaar baie beter met ons familie envriende moet kontak hou, ons lewe so bymekaar verby,gebruik altyd tyd as ‘n verskoning, maar die lewe is te kortdaarvoor. Van julle weet dat ons in ‘n ongeluk was, en dit

laat‘n mens net weer dink…

As dit ou nuus is vir die wat ons goed ken, geniet maar dieuseless information en hopenlik maak dit julle lus om meer tekuier. Vir die van julle wat daar ver is, weet net dat onsverlang en hou asb kontak.

2013 is already in fifth gear going forward but looking back at2012 we’re very grateful for all the experiences andopportunities we have had.

Not only was the year a hectic but predominantly onethat overflowed with love and deeper commitment familywise, leaving us guilty for not doing more to communicatebetter with friends.

So good to be back with our children and especially the twonew babies. At the same time we are missing Australia and allthe super friends we made. Wouldn’t it be nice if we couldjust fall in for a quick cup of coffee or piece of Boerewors fromtime to time?

Dit is vir ons wonerlik om terug te wees saam met die kindersen die kleinkinders, maar daarmee saam verlang ons vreeslikna ons dierbare vriende in Australie. Dit sou great gewees hetas ons net vinnig vir ‘n heen en weertjie kon inloer vir ‘nkoppie koffie of ‘n stukkie Boerewors.

Eie aan homself is Johann weer baie bedrywig in diegemeenskap, soveelso,dat hy skaars tyd kry vir sy eiedinge.Moet ook nie die ‘eiedinge’vlak kyk nie,want hy is nou

al‘n expert met beleggings. (Hy kan maar, want nou dat hy 2nuwe knie het is hy so goed soos nuut!)

Maude is ook altyd in die diepkant… eers werk sy vir haar manen nou vir haar kinders. Die een is so erg soos die ander. …

Tiaan durf nog die lewe so op sy eie aan, maar daar is weer ‘nglans in sy oog want daar is ‘n aanhangsel wat lyk asof sy dieknoop kan deurhaak.

Mareli se troue is nou al ou nuus, maar intussen het sy mageword van die dierbaarste ding, Emma. Haar Restaurant barsuit sy nate, sy het reggekry wat niemand kon droomdat sy sou.

Robbie... Geniet baie wat hy doen en handhaaf ‘n goeiebalans tussen die besigheid, die onderwyseressie in sy leween sy off road motorfiets.

Na 2 voet operasies en 2 oog operasies is Maudi dankbaar om2012 agter te laat. Sy was helfte van die jaar op krukke maarskop nou weer hoog.

I am now a bionic man with two artificial knees that servesme very well. The operation went very well and it is justamazing what these people are able to do medically thesedays. My days are spent totally involved in the stock exchangeand I can’t tell you how I’m enjoying it. I have just written awebsite called; www.share.za.com. There is a-live forum onthe website that you could use if what we do interests you inany way. I’m also working on the Robbertze website to make ita better source for information and communication. Spare a thought for Maude. After working for me in all sortsof capacities during our marriage, she is now involved fulltime in helping the boys with administration in theirconstruction business. She reckons the one is as bad as theother!

Tiaan is still on the hunt and he goes through them like a hotknife through butter. All of it very interesting though.

Mareli’s wedding, I think, is old news but she is now a mumwith the most beautiful baby girl called Emma. We will postsome photos of both the girls. Her restaurant is total chaos. Johann (Robbie) enjoys what he is doing and the two boysmake a formidable team. The one take responsibility for theJohannesburg area and the other in Pretoria. Next time, wewill tell you more about the projects they do and thecompanies they do business with. I just don’t know who isfavoured in time management between the blonde teacherand business but he seems to be doing well on both fronts.

After two foot operations and two eye operations Maudi isvery thankful to leave 2012 behind. Grateful though, thateverything has worked out well and also involved in helpingthe brothers administering their business.

Ons grootste plesier is om tyd met die twee kleintjies te spandeer. “Oupa Robbie” is beide se gunsteling en hulle kan behoorlik met hom toor! Moet sê, die lekkerste is om hulle terug te gee vir Ma en Pa wanneer die werk gedoen moet word, en rustig huis toe te gaan…. tot volgende keer!Ané is nou amper 4, sy is die kwaai een van die twee en kom so amper-amper weg met moord maar kruip diep in almal se harte.

Emma is nou 8 maande, het altyd ‘n glimlag maar raak nou baie besig, want sy het begin loop en kan nie meer alleen gelos word nie.

Ons sien daarna uit om al julle nuus te hoor en hopenlik gaan hierdie jaar ‘n jaar wees waarin ons baie beter kontak met mekaar hou. Baie voorspoed en baie liefde!
