Rosacea is a common skin condition that occurs on the
face, especially on the cheeks and nose. The disorder is
characterized by redness and sores containing
something like pus. This condition is prolonged (chronic), looking

Types of Rosacea

Specific components in the diet such as caffeine, alcohol and spices,
can also cause this condition. Other triggers include stress and
anxiety. Some drugs, such as topical steroids, can cause skin irritation
which causes Rosacea. Exfoliation (peeling) with chemical,
microdermabrasion treatment, tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide, which
are all used to treat acne, it can also cause Rosacea. If you are using
this medicine, it's better to reduce the dose gradually rather than stop
it immediately, to prevent a sudden reaction or burning sensation.
Main Symptoms of Rosacea Common symptoms of Rosacea are redness on the cheeks, forehead,
chin and nose, but may appear on the ears, neck, chest and head.
Redness is intermittent. Patients often experience redness and
blushing. Over time, the redness becomes permanent, and can cause
permanent skin changes. Depending on the type of Rosacea, some
blood vessels can be seen, and small pimples or pus-filled sores on
the face. In addition, plaque or patch up, swelling, and facial edema
can also be experienced by the patient. Physical symptoms may be
accompanied by burning, itching or stinging sensation.

Treatment depends on the type of Rosacea that the patient has and the
severity of the condition. The goal of this treatment is symptomatic,
which is to reduce redness and facial injuries, and minimize the
occurrence and severity of burns. Combined topical drugs and modern
medicine normally used to control the symptoms. After a well-
controlled, topical treatment is used to ensure improved conditions.
Healing results are usually recorded after 1-2 months of treatment.
Changes in lifestyle and good skin care is an important aspect in
