AIMEE LEADING CASEY

Casey constantly laughing because she was nervous.

I felt like people were watching me and laughing even though I couldn’t see. Conscious of how I was laughing

Could smell everything more intensely than usual and could also hear things I wouldn’t usually pick up on. Senses other than vision.

I found it quite easy to be with Aimee, felt trusting of her and knew she wouldn’t intentionally put me in the wrong direction.

However was ware of where I was placing my feet

JESS LEADING AIMEE

I felt like I knew where I was some of the time because I could hear certain things such as the till for the fruit market.

Concentrating on what I could hear, everything seemed louder and was aware of the way in which I walked.

Knees bending and feet touching the ground.

Felt disorientated and dizzy afterwards.

I trusted jess fully although she was walking very fast.

CASEY LEADING JESS

I was aware I was going through door because Casey just pushed me through without linking my arms as she did before.

I could tell I was indoors due to wind and temperature.

More nervous outside than inside and was conscious of people near me.

Jess kept slowing down at certain points thinking she was going to bang into things when she was in completely open space.

When we went through the university centre people were laughing at jess and pretending to throw food at her.

Summary.

All of our senses were heightened whereas usually we would rely on our vision.

Had to put full trust in our partner which was difficult at times (Jess was nervous of Casey leading her before she started.)

Were fully aware of our bodies in space due to our feet and knees working differently to how they usually would.
