Large flat basket, cellophane, floral foam,

bowl, ribbonFlowers, greenery, large and small gift items

Find the type of gift items that will appeal to your recipient:

SECURE THE BOWL

Soak the florist foam until heavy. Place in bowl and secure cage in place. Slip ribbon through the basket weaving and use to tie down the floral container securely to the basket.

This will ensure the floral arrangement remains fixed in the basket and doesn’t slip or move.

Scrunch up some cellophane and pack it in the basket and around the floral arrangement.

Tie a large bow to the edge of the basket or the

handle.

FILL THE BASKET WITH CHOSEN GIFTSPack the gifts you have chosen in the basket and around the floral arrangement. Use more cellophane if necessary to pack under items that might need extra height.

Use any smaller gift items to slip in and fill any smaller spaces between gifts.

Your gourmet basketLightly spray your floral arrangement with water.

You can also cover your gourmet gift basket with large sheets of cellophane, if required, but not necessary if you intend presenting the gift basket yourself. Attach, or slip into the

basket, an attractive gift tag or card.
