IntroductionI believe that success first begins with clarity – you need to know what you want (and don't want) from the get-go, and achieve your goals one step at a time. I have made my home, workstation, and virtually every aspect of my life much more convenient and free from disorder so as to encourage creativity, positivity, and change. I am a wife, a mother of two kids, and a full-time author, yet you might be wondering why I still have time to do so much, and accomplish things in a very productive manner. It is largely due to the fact that I maintain a certain level of clarity, and I make sure to eliminate any form of haphazardness of disorganization when it comes.

Prelude to Cleaning Your HomeMany factors can contribute to the presence of clutter in the home. Hoarding is an example that comes to mind. This means frantically and obsessively acquiring items that are not a part of one's current needs, and the inability to discard these things is what causes the unmanageable build-up of clutter. Clutter becomes a major problem when the amount of it significantly interferes with the way you live your life at home. For example, your kitchen or bathrooms become so stocked up with untidy mess, and people can no longer access those areas. It has also been known to affect the way a person is fully able to function – it can have ripple effects on one's social life, work life, and even personal safety.

The Different Ways to Apply Speed Cleaning to Your Home

There are times when I like doing things fast, because speed encourages momentum, uplifts me from any dragging stupor, and keeps my energy high. I like speed cleaning as well; I define it as maintaining a very high level of organization and productivity in cleaning a house, and doing so in a short period of time. If we are more efficient in cleaning up our surroundings, we can afford more free time and enjoy lots of other activities with the family. I like going out from time to time, but with my busy schedules and deadlines as a writer, it can be a challenge to juggle housework. Thus, I practice speedy yet effective cleaning to give me more time to enjoy other activities.

Using Green Cleaning to Improve Your Home Environment

A lot of people have different things to say about cleaning, but essentially, green cleaning is defined as a cleaning solution or a method that is aligned with environment-friendly principles. There are many ways to achieve a clean, green home. For some homeowners, it means that they limit themselves to using substances such as baking soda, vinegar, and even citrus fruits such as lemons to clean their abode. Basically, they only use natural and/or biodegradable products – those that do not cause harm to the ecosystem; that means no chemicals (chlorine and artificial fragrances). There is a huge repertoire of cleaning tools to choose from if you want to go green while cleaning your home. But before I give you the specifics, I'll list down what some of its advantages are for you and for your family.

Creating a Minimalist HomeIf you truly want to declutter and organize your house, you might find the minimalist lifestyle an excellent approach. For me, leading such a lifestyle allows me to go about life without pressure, and it does a great deal in terms of reducing stress and keeping myself centered on a day-to-day basis. In substance, minimalism is defined as discarding the stuff you don't need to make way for a clear and simple home environment, and thus leading the way to a simple life. For me, it means letting go of the compulsive need to keep items for whatever reason. The less you amass, the less likely you will worry about clutter in the future.

Maintaining a Clean and Clutter-Free House With KidsWhat makes living a minimalist lifestyle even better is making continuous efforts to clean and maintain your house. I have two kids, and I pride myself in my being able to maintain a routine that keeps my house clean, in spite of my motherly obligations.
