Safeguard Your Bathroom:

Like other areas of your house, your bathroom must be safeguarded from andprotected against the wanderings and curiosities of your little ones.

Lock on the toilet seat in the closed position is an effective safety practice. Preventkids’ curious minds from mischief or even danger. Never leave a bucket full of waterin the bathroom.

Install cabinet lock to lock on your cleaning supplies, chemicals, knives & shavers.Children are very curious, and may be attracted to the bottles of liquid or those sharpobjects.

Protect Against Slips:

Install non-slip bath & shower strips on the bathroom floor, tub to prevent accidentalslips and falls when having bath. Do not ever leave children unattended in the tub.

Place a non-slip bathroom rug by the side of the tub to step out onto.

Consider placing your own bath and beauty products--soaps, shampoos, conditioners,body lotions, after-shave, and shaving cream out of the tub and out of reach. Alwayskeep the floor dry to prevent slips and falls.

Never clutch or use the sliding glass shower door for stability or balance. This isextremely unsafe because shower doors are not meant to support human weight.

Take Precautions to Avoid electrocution

Take care to prevent electrocution in the bathroom. Pull out the plugs of allelectronic items. Have proper Plug protector and outlet socket cover to do away withelectrocution.

Avoid using hairdryers while standing on wet surface.
