Points to rememberWhen narrating/telling a story, or having conversation, give as many details as possible to describe people, places and events or give directions and instructions, which are forms of descriptions.
Both similarities and contrasts should be included.

Descriptive adjectives
Descriptive adjectives: Words that function to describe nouns. Specifically, adjectives describe the action, state, or quality that nouns refer to.
Adverbs
Adverbs
Adverbs: Used at the end of a sentence to modify the verb. Used to modify adjectives. Are easily recognized because they mostly end in -ly.

Linking words
Linking words help you to connect ideas and sentences, so that people can follow your ideas.
Activity I: Colony
It is the year 2345. The earth has been destroyed in a nuclear war. The survivors have decided to stat a new colony on the planet Ashah.
Unfortunately there is only room in the spaceship for FIVE people. Of the ten people listed, which five do you think should go?
