3IntroductionThe PRINCE2 Project Management Toolkit is a ready-to-go toolkit for setting up, planning and executing a project in a PRINCE2 environment. By using this toolkit, Project Managers will not only benefit from the best practice PRINCE2 approach for managing successful projects, but will also get a flying start in establishing the infrastructure of documentation, processes and techniques necessary for running a project in a controlled environment. This toolkit will save a lot of project administration effort, enabling the Project Manager to focus more on value creating tasks, by providing a comprehensive set of guides, templates and tools, including:1. A Project Process Guide – Step-by-step guidance through the entire life of a project based the PRINCE2 processes, from

pre-project start-up to final closure.2. Project Health Check lists – Templates for executing regular assessments of a project’s health.3. Document, Register and Report Templates – For all essential project information. Includes templates for all management

products included in the PRINCE2 method.4. Project Management Team Structure and Role Descriptions – For all project management roles. Includes project

management team structure templates for the most common project types as well as Role Descriptions for all project management team roles.

5. Guide to the Product-based Planning Technique – Detailed description and step-by-step guide to the product-based planning technique.

6. Guide to the Quality Review Technique - Detailed description and step-by-step guide to the quality review technique.7. Guide to the Configuration and Issue and Change Control Procedures - Detailed description and step-by-step guide to the

Configuration Management and Issue and Change Control procedures.8. Guide to the Risk Management Procedure - Detailed description and step-by-step guide to the Risk Management

procedure.9. Guide to integrating PRINCE2 with specialist methods – General description of specialist method integration and specific

guidance on integration with Agile frameworks and Six Sigma. All the material included in the toolkit is provided in editable MS Office file formats (word, excel and powerpoint) for easy customization to specific projects. The PRINCE2 Project Management Toolkit will primarily benefit PRINCE2 certified Project or Team Managers, but is also useful as an introduction to the PRINCE2 method.

Step-by-step guidance through the entire life of a project based the PRINCE2 processes, from pre-project start-up to final closure. Each project activity is described in detail with activity inputs, outputs, roles and responsibility. Each process section ends with a completion checklist and a RACI-matrix.

02. Project Health Check lists

Template checklists in MS-Excel for executing regular assessments of a project’s health.

03. Document, Register and Report Templates

Templates for creating all essential project information. Includes templates for all management products included in the PRINCE2 method in MS-Word and MS-Excel.

04. Project Management Team Structure and Role Descriptions

Template role descriptions for all project management roles in MS-Word. Includes project management team structure templates for the most common project types in MS-PowerPoint.

05. Guide to the Product-based Planning Technique

Detailed description and step-by-step guide to the product-based planning technique.

07. Guide to the Configuration and Issue and Change Control
