• Share of overnight bookings via OTAs raise

from 19,5 to 22,5%

• Share of direct bookings decreased from 59 to 55%

• Small hotels significantly more dependent on OTAs

• Share of biggest player (Booking.com) increasing from 60

to 63%

• Market towards a duopoly (Expedia) / monopoly?

• No signs of increased OTA competition after narrow

parity clauses (91,5% not received reduction in

commission rates)
