Transformational leadership is the one that relates to personal value, it is the terrain of the dreamer and it turns into the great differencing factor between companies, given the fact that, without the first one, there is nothing to do, but without this one there's nothing transcendental to do.Here's why business leadership is important: it seeks to develop a company to its fullest potential as well as its employees. There are terms that are closely related to business leadership and it is necessary to study them to see what do they have in common with business leadership and how they complement each other.

Business leadership and organizational leadership are complementary terms even though they mean different things.

Business leadership and teamwork: It is absolutely necessary for the business leader to create an optimal workteam through constructive and enriching tools.

Business leadership and emotional intelligence: In business leadership there is also an emotional component that the leader has to control, hence the importance of him or her to develop skills that will allow him or her to understand and identify his or her emotions and those of his team.

Since business leadership aims to develop the greatest potential in a company and its employees, we can safely say that companies no longer need just bosses, they also need leaders.

Depending on the nature of the company, certain values, capacities or skills will be regarded as being more important than others. There are different types of leadership and the company must know which of them is more adequate for their business. Many would disagree, but autocratic leadership is used in many businesses, in spite of the fact that currently a fear or superiority-based leadership doesn't work as thought long ago. Even though results might be obtained, a maximum level of productivity will never be met and this will also affect the workers negatively. There are other types of leadership that can work much better, such as the democratic, charismatic, comparative, situational or any other one that is not solely based on fear. Today it is important to know how to value and care for them as an important asset of the company. However, it is up to each company to determine this and it also depends on what it aims to achieve with the utilization of the type of leadership of their choosing.

Many people have the ability to be leaders of other people, organizations, sports teams, education programs, even families and different other environments, but business leadership is based on companies to achieve long term business success. A company without a good leader can not possibly work as it should. We have to keep in mind that corporate strategies must be analyzed and well-designed in order to get everything aiming towards the well being of the company and the achievement of corporate goals. Business leaders manage to put particular interests below the company's interests, without ever losing sight of the sensibility of people, in order for them to do the work with pleasure and with the certainty that the success of the work is also theirs. From atop the organizational chart, through setting example and showing dedication, he or she -the leader- becomes the guide and soul of the company.

A business leader is a strategist, entrepreneur, motivator and facilitator, who always keeps track of the goals he or she has traced. He or she must be capable of giving orders and managing groups, having empathy, communicating easily and talking to people. However, this ideal leader is quite hard to find. Different types of leadership can be classified according to whether their level of sensitivity towards people and the company's objectives is either weak or acute. When the acute sensibility is combined within a leader regarding both aspects , a democratic leader will appear. If the person is weak in both aspects, the leadership will be care-free. If the leadership is acute regarding the sensibility of people but weak with corporate objectives, the leader will be a demagogue, and if these conditions are inverted, the leadership will be authoritarian. The type of leadership will adapt itself to the situation, even though it is preferable for it to be democratic.
