Cleanliness Section.11

• Accumulation of dirt shall be removed daily• The floor of every workroom shall be cleaned at least

once in a week• All inside walls, partitions, ceilings must be repainted

or varnished once in every five years• All doors and windows frames other wooden or

metallic framework and shutters shall be kept painted or varnished

Where any operation is carried on at a pressure higher than atmospheric pressure, steps must be taken that to ensure that the safe working pressure is not exceeded.

If any machinery or building is in a defective or in dangerous situation, the inspector of the factories can ask for the holding of tests to determine how they can be made safe
