!Number of open data portals are growing in the public sector. !!There’s a long way to go in what regards data quality. !!Citizens, public administration, and politicians in general, still don’t see data’s value.

What? A statistical portrait of Portugal !When? It started february 2010 !What for? Provides citizens with good, reliable, and easy to visualize statistical information about Portugal, Europe and portuguese municipalities. !How? Using statistical data from good and reliable oficial sources, grouping it in more intelegible ways, and working on it’s visualization.
