Introduction

What is natural disaster?A disaster is a natural event that negatively affects life, property, livelihood or industry often resulting in permanent changes to human societies, ecosystems and environment. As the definition suggests, disasters are highly disruptive events that cause suffering deprivation , hardship, injury and even death, as a result of direct injury, disease, the interruption of commerce and business, and hospitals, and other buildings, roads, bridges, power lines, etc.

Types of natural disasters

. Earthquakes

. Flood . Tornado

. Avalanche

. Hunger

1- Flood

Is an overflow of an expanse of water that submerges land. The EU floods directive defines a flood as a temporary covering by water of land not normally covered by water.

2- Tornado

All of these ( hurricanes, cyclones, typhoons and tornadoes ) are fierce storms with strong winds that spin around them in a giant circle. During these strong, trees can be uprooted, buildings can be destroyed and cars can be overturned.

3- Avalanche

Is enormous mass of snow which breaks away from slope and rolls downward with high speed. An avalanche buries people, takes buildings, damages roads.

4-Hunger

Is the state of man, which it does not have the meal for healthy life.

5- Earthquake

Earthquake ( also known as a quake, tremor, or temblor ) is the result of sudden release of energy in the Earth’s crust that create seismic waves.

That countries happen a lot of natural disasters

Every year a lot of countries happen natural disasters in the world, for example: China, Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Philippines, United states of America. China is one of the countries most affected by natural disasters. The 1931 China floods, death toll 3 million to 4 million. Natural disasters occur frequently in china affecting more than 200 million people every year. In Australia experiences arrange of natural disasters including bushfire, floods, severe storms, earthquakes and landslides.

disasters, such as hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, and fires. The cost of

rebuilding becomes even more of an issue when they are already burdened

with dept.
