323 B.C. Death of Alexander the Great
• According to a Babylonian astronomical diary, Alexander died between the evening of June 10 and the evening of June 11, 323 BC.
• This happened in the palace of Nebuchadnezzar II in Babylon.
• In the process, he created an empire that reached from Macedonia through Greece and the Persian Empire to the fringes of India.
