DESCRIPTION
Connected Hospital Presentation by Jim White at the Center for Connected Medicine on May 15, 2013. The requirements of IT infrastructure are like the human neuro system in that the organization, just like the individual, leverage different capabilities as they mature. Many IDNs have a limited appreciation of the IT infrastructure on the higher order performance capabilities of their organization. It's similar to the way we as individuals think about our Neuro Networks as supporting the five basic senses until we begin to reflect on the more subtle but crucial tasks of this network to support activities such as social engagement, personality, persuasiveness, etc.
