  • Currently there are people living with cancer in the UKBy 2030, this will have risen to

  • In fact, nearly one in two of us will get cancer.

  • But the cancer story is changing ......more people are living with and beyond cancer than ever before, due to earlier diagnosis and better treatment.

  • In the UK: More than 750,000 people of working age are living with cancer Around 500,000 carers of people with cancer work full or part-time 82% of people think its important to continue to work However, 47% had no choice but to give up work or change their roles as a result of their diagnosis. 750,000+

  • This means we need to shift the way we think about survival and life after cancer, especially in the workplace.

    Right now, or some time soon, you are going to have to deal with cancer at work.
