How To Do Great Sit Ups
It is usually ideal for us to exercise our body. This isbecause body exercises have very many advantages thatwe may not be aware of. For instance if we do lightbodyweight exercises we may experience the followingbenefits.
You will find an improvedcardio performance.
You will also develop greatcore strength.
You will have strongermuscles in place.
You will keep of any diseasesthat may arise.
You will also have a greatsense of flexibility.
And above all you will haveimproved your lifeexpectancy
So when I visited one of my favorite fitness boot camp inThailand I could not wait to find out more aboutanything new that lay in store. And when the time cameI was not disappointed. Simple as it sounded I learnt thebest way to do great sit ups. Have a look and share inmy lesson.
If you intend to do great situps here are what you haveto keep in mind.
Since sits ups are ideallyamong the best calisthenicstraining you may want to beat your best.
So with your back on thefloor flat and let your headface straight up the ceiling.
Straighten your arms alongyour body and closer toyour chest.
They pull your legs up andbend your knees to allowthe balls of your feet andheels to remain flat on theground.
Move your arms forwardand let your palms rest onyour opposing shoulders.
This will allow your arms to remain crossed over yourchest or next to your head. This is usually done toprovide you with a central rising point.
With this perfectly done, now tighten your abdominalmuscles gently by drawing in your belly all the way toyour spine.
If you have gone to most fitness retreats you will learnthat this is the ideal position for an ideal sit up. Thenext thing will be to start taking your sit ups.
In doing this you may want to first observe that you are still inthat ideal sit up position.
Once you have done that, and while still lying on the ground, startlifting your head first followed by your shoulder blades.
Keep your toes and heels in place and while lifting yourself useyour bent knees as the focus for your eyes.
Ensure that your abs muscles remain contracted and pullup your upper body from the floor until it’s at 90degrees.
So with your elbows below knees hold in there for asecond.
Then slowly bring your back down to its original positiononly that this time, do not let it touch the ground.
Repeat this movements as many times as you can whileensuring that you do not lose the position.
Conclusion
Overtime you may move to other forms of sit ups that will makeit more versatile and yet ideal for your core strength.
