WORLD POPULATION DAY
To mark the significance of population stabilization fortnight , a health mela was organised by DHS at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital , Khichripur on 17th july from
9 A.M to 4 P.M
Homoeopathic wing was also invited to be part of the same. Consequently, under the guidance of CDMO , East Zone, Dr Ashok Sharma and directions from the directorate we participated.
Dr Shruti Gora & Dr Cheshta Nagrath were deployed at the Mela.
WELCOME ADDRESS
The Mela was inaugurated amidst great enthusiasm of the health workers and public.
All the dignitaries were welcomed by the officials of the CDMO East Office (allopathic) .

DC east district , Shri Kunal was the chief guest for the occasion .
In his address Shri kunal emphasised “on the need of family planning measures to stabilize the growing population” so as to have sustainable development
OUR OBJECTIVE
Sensitized people about the hazards of growing population, effective measures to control it
Educated them about the counselling facilities provided at the Homoeopathic dispensaries.
People were motivated to take up various methods of contraception according to their need.
“Happy Mother & Healthy Child” was the theme for homoeopathy kiosk.
Banners and posters about homoeopathy were displayed , leaflets about the efficacy of homoeopathy in treatment of various diseases were distributed.
The effort received a good response.
OUR VISITORS All the dignitaries were appraised about the
homoeopathic system of medicine and our efforts to converge with the allopathic system for family planning
Our stall was visited by D.C shri Kunal, M.S of LBSH Dr Amita Saxena , various department heads , CDMO East Dr Madhuchanda , Adl CDMO Dr Rekha Rawat, Dr Abha, Dr Rachna, Dr Renu to name a few.
Dr Mridula Pandey , CMO (HQ) also visited the stall and motivated us.
A POSITIVE LEAD
Dr Rachna (incharge of tobacco deaddiction centres) was of the view that homoeopathy should be integrated for treatment of patients at de-addiction centres and for treatment of pre diabetics and pre hypertensive patients
