The Research Foundation of Hospital and Healthcare Administration (RFHHA) is the leading
professional foundation in hospital and healthcare administration in Indian subcontinent that strives
to protect and promote the hospital and healthcare administration, capacity building in Indian
Subcontinent so that all people can enjoy the best health possible and can live grow and prosper in

The Research Foundation of Hospital and Healthcare Administration (RFHHA) has been
conceptualized to encourage and assist research as well as all such activities that are likely to benefit
art and science of Hospital Administration, Management, Public Health system and Healthcare
policies in India and South–East Asia. The Mission of RFHHA is to strengthen management in
healthcare through training and research, best practices and transformational initiatives to meet
contemporary and future social, economic, ecological technological challenges by facilitating the
exchange of information, experience, research and advocating for policies, programs and practices
that will improve public health. Its mandate is to facilitate young researchers, health administration
educators and professionals both academically and financially to enhance the available body of
scientific knowledge pertaining to Hospital Administration and Healthcare policies.
RFHHA has established itself as a pioneer in the field of promoting Research activities over last three
years. It is a matter of pride for us that RFHHA has been selected for Six Sigma Healthcare Excellence
Award – 2015 in the category of Best Hospital Management Research organization of the year.
About Program
Six sigma is a Statistical Control process of managing defects and deriving improvements out of it,
first by identifying defects, removing defects, with the concept of continual improvement. Six Sigma
is a management methodology meant for driving process improvements in the delivery of goods and
services. It provides businesses with the tools to improve the capability of their business processes.
The increase in performance and decrease in process variation leads to defect reduction and vast
improvement in revenue or net profits, employee morale and quality of product. It is rapidly

Objective
The objective of the training is to demonstrate the applicability of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, which
will equip individuals with problem solving skills, logical and objective way to identify, measure, and eliminate

Methodology
Lean Six Sigma is a powerful business process improvement methodology that can be used to achieve
unsurpassed levels of quality; superior delivery performance; and lowest possible operating costs which can
help a company effectively compete and achieve sustainable growth in the global marketplace.
The highly matured program from RFHHA will be considered an industry benchmark, primarily due to the
multisensory methodology that will be used for a lasting impact.
The learning begins with the pre-course material which is provided on registering for the program.
Participants are expected to read through the material before coming for the training session. This ensures
that everyone has the right basic knowledge to have an effective start with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training.
As the classroom sessions begin, participants are assigned to a suitable group for team exercises and
discussions to help them try applications during the training. Groups need to be selected carefully so that
members can have synergistic focus. Interactive quiz, role plays and group exercises are used throughout to
enhance the learning experience.
Carefully devised content specific case studies are used to help you gain insightful learning. DMAIC practice
projects are undertaken in the classroom to help participants understand Six Sigma implementation in real
life business scenarios. Participants learn to carry out analysis with the help of globally used Minitab software.
The result oriented application of software is explained during the entire program. Certain Microsoft Excel
based templates are also provided along with the course material to help you apply Six Sigma concepts. The
class room case study approach has been recognized as the most useful among all delivery methods.

Participant will take the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Exam and upon successful completion of the workshop
will be awarded Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate. The certification is accredited by Exemplar Global
(formerly known as RABQSA) and therefore internationally recognized.
