When searching for a seniorliving facility for my agingmother I was very careful to gether the best care provider in themarket. Ideally I wanted a careprovider who would embrace mymother and in turn get alongquite well with her. I wanted herto be comfortable in her seniorlife and to ensure that she wouldin turn enjoy her golden years.

So with the high degree ofcarefulness which I wasworking with I knew I had todevelop a great set ofchecklist that would ensurethat at the end of it all Ifound a friendly seniorhome care provider for her.But to finally nail that idealfriendly care program mychecklist had to answer thefollowing questions.

I wanted to a home care program and therefore I would beout there looking for the most ideal home care provider formy mother. So by asking myself the following question I knewthat it would lead me into the right care provider.

Again this question would also come in as ideal in pointing tothe types of care that the said home care provider would beable to provide my mom with. Did it include even a routinemedical checkup, or it was only limited to doing householdchores such as laundry, cleaning the house, cooking, washingdishes, or also overseeing her daily senior workout schedule.

Another thing that I had to consult a pal whoworked with Senior Home Care Ottawa tounderstand was the need for ideal careprovider staff.

Initially I thought that the care providerwas to take care of their staff. But I cameto learn that if I learned the staff alone, itwould be quite helpful as I would be ableto know how friendly, caring, loving, orideal decision makers that they wouldbe.

The care provider’s locationwas also to prove very muchvital at the end of it all. Forinstance being an advice that Ifound at the Ottawa HomeCare I realized that theflexibility, timeliness,

and dedication of an ideal senior home care providerleaned greatly towards their proximity to the client. And if not it lay squarely on how easy they would beable to manipulate their ways to the client.

And since I knew that for me to find a

friendly care provider I had to find a few

clients that would recommend them. I

always asked for a few contacts from

every home care provider that I visited and

in turn pay a visit to those clients to get

their view.

And before I settled down for a specific care provider for mymom’s home care solutions, I went ahead to ask thesequestions too. Does The Care Provider Have DisciplinaryMeasures In Place? And For How Long Has The Care ProviderBeen In Business? These two were to restore my confidence.
