In constipation, bowel movement become less frequent with less bowel volume and weight. Bowel movement also becomes difficult as well as painful due to hard stool.

Constipation is the problem related with your digestive system. It is not a disease but a sign which points towards the possibility of many other diseases.

The most common causes of constipation are:

Inadequate intake of water is one of the common cause which results in constipation in most of the people.

Wrong eating habits like eating heavy, fried, processed junk food. Not taking salad and fruits in your diet increase the chances of constipation.

Holding back the pressure when you feel the urge for bowel movement. The longer you hold back, the more likely it results in constipation
