Doctor Who:Is an extremely popular BBC science fiction series which originally ran between 1963 and 1989. The Doctor travels through time and space in a time machine, accompanied by a human helper. He flights a variety of monsters and evil beings, the most famous of which are the Daleks. From time to time the Doctor ‘regenerates' and takes on a new body ( so that the part can be played by a different actor). The show was successfully re-launched in 2005 and is popular with both children's and adults.

Herbert George (H.G.) Wells (1866-1946)Was a English novelist, and is most famously know as the father of the science fiction. His most famous novels are The Time Machine, The War of the Worlds, The Island of the Doctor Moreau and the Invisible Man.The Time Machine was published in 1895. It tells the story of a man who inventers a time machine and travels forward in time to 802,701 AD where he encounters a society split between the peaceful Eloi and the apelike subterranean Morlocks. He also travels forward 300 millions years into the future to witness the final days of Earth. The book was made into a film in 1960 and again in 2002.
