How do we prolong healthy aging by motivating people to exercise more?

Page 7: Unblurr, Mobility, Providence, RI (USA)

Exercising is one of those things that benefit from external motivators. We all want to exercise more, just not today. I did extensive research at Tuckwotton (assisted living home) to find out what those external motivators are.

Their family and friends, not surprisingly, are what get boomers excited and motivated.

What motivates boomers the most?

“ I love it when my son visits and brings the grand kids. I have a photo album on my iPad that has all of

their photos.”

- Margaret, Tuckwotton resident

Boomers are starting to love social media. How can we leverage what makes social media addicting and apply to fitness? How can we harness

the power of our own addictions and use it positively?
