ROTARY FAMILY HEALTH DAYS

Initiated by Rotary in Uganda3 day Programme that runs delivers health services to disadvantagedcommunities through an effective partnership modelDriven by RFHA and Rotary Clubs in South Africa at 181 sites in all 9provinces in conjuction with partnersNigeria, Uganda, Ghana, Lesotho, Swaziland, South AfricaPan African with planned expansion into India, Sri Lanka and South

America

• Dates: 2nd – 4th April 2014 – over three days• Where: 9 South African Provinces• Target: 80 000 clients through sites(2013 – 65 000 people went through out sites)

• Sites nationally: 181 (2013 - 160 sites)

Establish Rotary structures for RFHD’s in each DistrictIdentify with DoH all 181 sites in 9 provinces in South AfricaEngage with DoH , PEPFAR/USG partners at Provincialand District levelDevelop a media campaign for social mobilizationand partner exposureBuild and manage the sitesDetermine add on services at the sitesDistribute data collection forms for each siteTrain Rotary Club members on everythingIdentify a launch/close site with the DoH
