BEING A FLAT MATEBeing a flat mate helps create my occupational identity as I am sharing a community with friends. It helps me learn about other people, the way they live and also helps to establish roles within the house and what is required to be able to sustain a comfortable home. ‘BEING’

BEING A STUDENT AT OTAGO POLYTECHNICBeing a student helps to gain knowledge about a particular topic, helps us to meet friends, gives us structure and routine, allows us to be surrounded in new environments and also helps us to fulfil our life time dreams.

SOCIALIZING WITH FRIENDS Socializing with friends is part of my current, past and future occupational identity because our friends help build us and make us who we are. I enjoy spending time with friends as it allows me to grow as an individual, gives us someone to feel comfortable talking to and because I enjoy their company.
