WHAT IS CANCER? CANCER is the cause of more than 1,000

deaths all over the world. There are A LOT of DIFFERENT types of

cancer for example, breast cancer, brain cancer, and leukemia.

WHAT IS LUNG CANCER? Lung cancer is a type of cancer you can

get in your lungs. It is caused by uncontrolled cell growth. Or because you smoke!

WHAT CAUSES LUNG CANCER? Main cause smoking! The only other way you can get lung

cancer is if you have a family member who has had lung cancer before.

IS LUNG CANCER HERIDITARY? Studies have shown that lung cancer

may be hereditary but they are not so sure yet.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF LUNG CANCER? When the cells start to spread out and use

more of the body’s energy you can get some of these symptoms:

Fever Fatigue Unexpected weight loss Problems with brain function and memory Swelling in the neck or face General weakness Bleeding or blood clots

SMOKING! Smoking has caused millions of deaths

worldwide.

WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF LUNG CANCER? DEATH ! LUNG CANCER CAN KILL YOU. When a person has lung cancer test are

done to determine what type of lung cancer they have and to also determine on what stage they are in.

MOST DANGEROUS TYPE OF CANCER Did you know that lung cancer is in the

top 7 for being the deadliest type of cancer?

Usually people who die of lung cancer is because they smoke.

Lung cancer is responsible for 1.3 million deaths worldwide.
