Page 1: Kiwanis International Eliminate Project March Update

The Eliminate Project Chairman Randy DeLay and Campaign Director Tiffany Lake have some important

news about a member of our team. Recently Lindsay Marciniak, the Campaign Associate Director, has been

diagnosed with breast cancer. It is contained and treatable, and she is pursuing treatment with a team of

highly respected medical experts in Indianapolis. As a Kiwanis family, we are committed to supporting her

through this journey and ask that you keep Lindsay in your thoughts and prayers, and reach out to her with

messages of support.

Six ways to boost fundraising

1. Recruitment—engage the new members of the team by deploying them for presentations and

club visits about The Eliminate Project. The impact of having more people available to speak

about the project is exponential!

2. Midyears—have you fully utilized the opportunities and connections made at the midwinter

conference? Follow up with fellow Kiwanians about The Eliminate Project and ask the speak to

their club.

3. Tax season—consider the impact a tax refund could make for the children of the world.

4. Mother’s Day Zeller—read about this limited opportunity below.

5. ICON recognition and presentation opportunities—clubs and individuals who fulfill 100K

Club, Model Club, Lead Gift and Major Gift pledges will be recognized in a special way at In-

ternational Convention. There is also an opportunity for donors to share how they achieved suc-

cess at a workshop or other special event for The Eliminate Project.

6. Progress page—launches on March 31. This page will show district progress by publishing

pledges and paid donations! Don’t miss this opportunity to highlight your district!
