This was known as the year with no summer

Famine related diseases is the main cause of deaths

Common for parents to kill their children to reserve food

Bubonic PlagueAlso known as the

black death

Plague took place in Europe

Killed off a third of the human population

Decaying bodies feed the mice and the mice got the people sick, killing off larger amounts.

Agriculture

Turnips and clovers were sold to people with cattle

Grew crops that were more resistance to cold, dampness and excessive dryness

This form of agriculture recovered the population after the famine

Potatoes were poisonous
