Regional Program
Fit for School
Component 1
Strengthening of school health within SEAMEO
INNOTECH (regional level)
Component 2
Capacity strengthening within national education
systems
Component 3
Piloting of FIT approach in intervention schools and preparation of expansion
School health is positioned and
integrated as strategic approach within
SEAMEO INNOTECH
Relevant organisational structures of the education Ministries are enabled to
assume their planning and steering responsibility in
the context of school health. Thereby they work
intersectoral and collaborate closely with
other relevant sectors, e.g. health, water/sanitation,
nutrition.
Partner organisations have implemented and
evaluated the FIT approach in selected
schools and have analysed the results
with regard to a further expansion.
