Generic Clomiphene Citrate Tablets are used for induction of
ovulation in patients with persistent ovulatory dysfunction who
desire pregnancy. Fertomid tablets can be used to make an
irregularly ovulating woman ovulate regularly.Generic Clomiphene is
useful in the treatment of oligomenorrhoea, dysfunctional uterine
bleeding, amenorrhoea, post pill menorrhoea, Stein Leventhal
syndrome (polycystic ovarian diseases), and Chiari Frommel
syndrome.

Generic Clomiphene (Fertomid tablets ) has to be stored at
controlled room temperature i.e. from 20C to 25C (68F to 77F) in a
cool dark place. Keep this as well as all other medicines away from
children and pets.

Pelvic examination is necessary before starting Generic
Clomiphene Citrate (Fertomid Tablets) treatment and before each
subsequent course.Good levels of endogenous oestrogen (as estimated
from vaginal smears, endometrial biopsy, assay of urinary
oestrogen, or endometrial bleeding in response to progesterone)
provide a favourable prognosis for ovulatory response induced by
Clomiphene Citrate.

50 mg daily (1 tablet) for 5 days, starting within the first 5 days
of spontaneous or induced menstrual bleeding.

Contraindications
Fertomid is contraindicated in patients with a hypersensitivity
to Clomiphene Citrate or any other component of this
medication.

at recommended dosages.
The common Generic Clomiphene Citrate (Fertomid Tablets) side
effects reported during clinical trials in fewer than 1% of
patients were Acute abdomen, appetite increase, constipation,
dermatitis or rash, depression, diarrhoea, dizziness, fatigue, hair
loss/dry hair, increased urinary frequency/volume, insomnia,
light-headedness, nervous tension, vaginal dryness, vertigo, weight
gain/loss.

Signs and symptoms of overdose as a result of the use of more
than the recommended dose during Generic Clomiphene Citrate therapy
include nausea, vomiting, vasomotor flushes, visual blurring, spots
or flashes, scotomata, ovarian enlargement with pelvic or abdominal
pain. Toxic effects accompanying acute overdosage of Generic
Clomiphene Citrate have not been reported.

women is contraindicated as it does not offer any benefit in this
population group.Available human data do not suggest an increased
risk for congenital anomalies above the background population risk
when used as indicated. To prevent inadvertent Generic Clomiphene
Citrate administration during early pregnancy, appropriate tests
should be conducted during each treatment cycle to determine
whether ovulation occurs. The patient should be evaluated carefully
to exclude pregnancy, ovarian enlargement, or ovarian cyst
formation between each treatment cycle.
