DESCRIPTION
This presentation explains the basics of the Afterschool Nutrition Program, a federal child nutrition program that provides reimbursements to organizations (including school districts) that provide meals and snacks to afterschool programs in areas of need. The Florida Partnership to End Childhood Hunger is working with the Department of Health to help inform potential providers about the availability of the program.

• Public or private non-profit• Located in 50% or more free &
reduced-price school zone• Activities provided (educational or
enrichment, regularly scheduled)• Child care license or license
