Intro and aim Example: During this study we shall be considering the biological, psychological and social factors that influence the outcomes of pregnancy, childbirth and infant development.We will consider the effects of pregnancy on the mother, family and community.

ICE Don’t need to be an idea, a concern or an expectation, can be a mixture

WHY? why did you think/ feel that? Ie.. she did not want to go to antenatal classes. She worried that they would make her worry about her labour

Instead: she was worried about going to antenatal classes because she had heard stories that they were frightening, and friends had said that they had made them dread their labours.

- What did they expect would happen?

Methodology

confidentiality Talk about the interviews- how they were planned, conducted, what type of questions you used.

Triangulation of data- this is how we describe taking information from lots of sources and combining them ie.. Medical notes and interviews.

Talk about the flaws- recall bias, limited number of interviews

be like a little kid, ask why after every sentence- have you explained it properly?

Word count! They are very strict. Lots of people failed last year on word count. Words in figures do count!

Remember to include a conclusion that relates back to your aims

Spelling and grammar they are very picky on this

Make sure figures and tables are linked to text
