ECOSYSTEMS
Ecosystem comes from the Greek word oikos which means home and systema or
system.
Ecosystems are made up of both living and non-living things
.Parts of an ecosystem that are living or were once living are called biotic.
Parts of an ecosystem that are non-living are called abiotic.
An ecosystem is the interaction between these living (biotic) and non-living (abiotic) factors.
There are ecosystems everywhere…big and small
