• What is its objective?
• The health and wellness of the consumer
• But was it achieving its goal?

So What Has Changed?• Many unqualified instructors are still
teaching
• Many fitness myths still prevail
• Medical costs are soaring
• Obesity and overweight continue to “expand”.
• There is still a vast sedentary population
Why?• Research shows that physically active
people live longer, have a better quality of life and cost the system less €€€
• Inactive people have a less healthy lifestyle, tend to be less productive for society and can become a burden for the governments due to health care.
How do we activate people?
• Qualified exercise professionals
• Safe and effective exercise programmes
• A healthy and positive environment
• Motivation to contine to exercise
• Make them enjoy the physical activity
• They have to have…
• FUN!!!
What is the key?
• The instructor/exercise professional plays a key role in activating people to fitness
• Often poorly paid, overworked, no benefits …
• Not incentivated to obtain or maintain qualification…
• What can be a solution?
E-Learning Fitness
