The Procedure

Breast implants may not provide the desired results if there is not enough breast tissue to

cover them. In LipoImplant augmentation, the implants provide the core volume

projection while the autologous fat graft covers the implants and offers a natural looking

During the initial consultation, the surgeon will evaluate the patient’s goals and anatomy in

order to develop a customized treatment plan. Many established surgeons use 3D imaging

at the consult so that patients can visualize the possible outcomes of the surgery and take

The fat needed for augmentation is removed from areas such as the abdomen, waist, thighs

bear) are placed, the purified fat is injected around or over the implant and molded to

After the procedure, the patient is advised to wear a compression garment to reduce

swelling, bruising and for maximum support. Strenuous activities must be avoided and most

patients resume normal activities within a week or two after the surgery. It may take a few

months for the final results to appear.
