Presentation

• Brand Name : Caldolin• Generic Name : Calcium Carbonate &

Vitamin D3

• Composition : Each tablet contains

Calcium carbonate 1250 mg equivalent

to 500 mg of elemental Calcium and

Colecalciferol 400 IU equivalent to 5µg

vitamin D3.

• Presentation: Each Pot contains 30

tablets

Mechanism of Debocal:

Calcium is necessary for many normal

functions of our body, especially bone

formation and maintenance. Vitamin D

is important for the absorption of

calcium from the stomach and for the

functioning of calcium in the body.

Dosage & Administration :

• Adults and Elderly and children:

2 tablets per day, preferably one tablet each morning and evening.

Not recommended for children under 12 years.

Side Effect:

Mild gastro-intestinal disturbances such as

• Constipation

• Flatulence

• Nausea

• Gastric pain

• Diarrhoea.

Contraindications:

Absolute contra-indications are

• Hypercalcaemia

• Severe renal failure

• Primary hyperparathyroidism and

• Any hypersensitivity to any of the tablet

ingredients.

• Relative contra-indications are

• Renal stones (Little evidence)

• Severe hypercalciuria.
