How Does the Thermophore™ Work?

The Thermophore™ develops a high level of heat, drawing moisture from the ambient air in to the Moisture-Sure™ cover, creating deep, penetrating moist heat for the patient

No additional moisture is needed to be added to the blanket

Moist heat is well tolerated by the body, increasing blood circulation, relieving inflammation and pain

Moist hat penetrates 27 times better than dry heat!

Why Thermophore?

An ordinary heating pad is not hot enough to provide the same level of comfort and temporary pain relief as the Thermophore™

Heating pads will keep an area warm but it does not provide deep, penetrating heat

For best results, moist heat is provided for a short period of time at a high temperature. The body returns to normal temperature and the process is repeated
