Interesting facts about Hypnosis• Going into a state of hypnosis is a very normal natural activity.• A person hypnotized is aware of everything the hypnotist says at all times.• Persons under hypnosis will always awaken from hypnosis easily.• No person can be hypnotized without their consent, cooperation and
willingness.• Persons in hypnosis will remain in control of themselves at all times.• Hypnosis allows your subconscious mind to accept positive suggestions.• Hypnosis cannot make someone do something they don't want to do.
Different types of Hypnosis
• Traditional Hypnosis• Hypnotherapy• Self Hypnosis• NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) Hypnosis
Traditional Hypnosis
• What is it? It is when the hypnotist puts the subject into a hypnotic trance and then tells the subject what to do by giving direct commands and suggestions. This is what most people think of when they think about hypnosis.
Hypnotherapy
• What is it? Hypnotherapy is using hypnosis healing purposes or positive development. It usually deals with psychological problems in which hypnosis can be very helpful.
Self Hypnosis
• What is it? It is a self induced form of hypnosis and usually involves the subject learning a set of procedures, or following a recording or some other form of media. There is access to plenty of self hypnosis videos on the internet.
NLP Hypnosis
• What is it? It is similar to self hypnosis but it focuses more on behavioral problems.
